Week 6

These past few weeks were the most frustrating time of my life. I thought because we are going to donate money to an organization is was going to be easy. My group called about 10 organization in order to find out who are we going to donate. We have be transfer to other people who couldn't answer our question. For Sharp hospital I was transfers about 6 times and the transfers were so long I was at the point where sing along with the music. Most of the places we called send us to voicemail. One call me back at 5:00am. However, then there was the ONE. Rady Children Hospital was really useful, they were able to answer all of our question. After the call we pick Rady Children Hospital(Research) as the organization we are going to donate all the money to.
My group worked really well. We didn't had a lack of communication. When we say we are going to meet at a specific time, we show up on time. We divided the work equally and final the work. With my group teamwork was the pillar of our success.
After donate the money I am going to feel sad and glad. Sad because I have to give a check of $500 to somebody else and glad because it show all my hard work pay off.
P.S Thank you Ryan for help my group with our problems.

Call In

The hardest part about trying to find a good non-profit organization is to call the organization. IF THE ORGANIZATION DOESN'T TREAT YOU GOOD THEN FORGET IT. Since my cause is Health research and education, so most of the organization were hospitals like Sharp, Rady children, and etc. My group and I called 9 organization in order to find one organization that call us back. 3 went straight to voicemail.2 went to the machine, and another 2 transfer us to other people which then send us straight to voicemail. However the worst one was one organization that is going to remind nameless said we are not interested. Until we found one organization that called us back.It was Rady Children Hospital.

IT'S GOOD OR BAD

On week 4 the assignment was to find an organization that is decent. In to pass the "Decent Test", the non-profit organization need to pass 2 other test.Qualitative Analysis and the Quantitative Analysis. Qualitative Analysis is to see how good is the organization. Quantitive Analysis is to see are their number good.(In order to pass the Quantitative Analysis click on the word "link") In order to pass the Qualitative Analysis is personal. Do you like what the are doing? I suggest to volunteer to the Organization.

My Company pass the Quantitative Test. I still to need it to pass Qualitative Test.(La Jolla Bioengeering Institute)

Week 3 Number

In this actvity you will need to pick organaztions that your group is willing to donate money or time.

I choose the La Jolla Bioengineering Institue. Now since I have an organization it is time to do research. The reason it is important to do you research is because if you don't are wasting money or time. Two things that are limited in this world. This organization is not the best ;however, it is good enough. If you don't what to waste anything then look for the organization 990 form. This form can be found by .  http://nccs.urban.org

Brown Bag

Brown Bags
With a brown bag, the activity was to put 3 items that is important to us. I have realize how the 3 item I put in my brown bag are all connected.Money,FFF,and Laughter

1) Money- Why money you ask? It is simple, money is a tool in order to help my imagine the perfect world where I can watch the news and stop hearing about someone death, or about cancer killing about another million people. I know money can't buy happiness, but without it then your life is restricted to only do a limited amount. Money can do so many thing for this world, it can cure disease, reduce the amount of homeless people, and so much more.

2)FFF(Friends,Family,and Fun)- It is nice to be the richest man in the world or the strongest, but without someone to share you goal or accomplish with then what is the point? Being lonely can sometime be useful, but can't be for a long period of term and I should know. There are times when I don't talk to anyone because I have a lot on my mind and I am trying to sort them all out; however, that is for a day. I don't know where will I be without my family or my friends.

3)Laughter- My perspective of life is to enjoy it. Being sad, depress, or negative can never satisfied anyone. I always avoid any negative thought. When someone try to make fun of me, I don't get mad and start scream or flipping table. I sit there laughing, enjoy myself. I always like joke, laughter and having a good time. Life has a ton of opportunity for laugh why waste it, instead take it there is nothing to lose, but regret.
